Slightly more aesthetically pleasing nappy bin for washables

I'm looking for a nappy bin that I can use for reusable / washable nappies. I will be washing them every 2 days and plan on having a mesh laundry bag inside the bin to throw into the wash with all the nappies inside. Therefore I don't want one of the clever nappy bins which wraps each nappy in plastic film. However, I really don't like the ones sold on the reusable nappy sites like Nappy Lady, TotsBots etc - they are basically just horrible ugly plastic buckets and I feel like I might as well just use a bucket from B&Q if that's what they are like!

Does anyone using washable nappies have a better set up with a bin that keeps the smell out for a couple of days but which looks reasonably attractive next to the baby's changing area?

Thank you

Why not use a big wet bag instead?

We have a couple of these and they fit in loads, plus you can just unzip and stick straight in washing machine.

Ah that sounds like it could work @ScarfLadysBag. So you throw these in the wash as well but just unzip them? The ones on the website only hold a max of 4-5 nappies though so I wonder if I can find a larger capacity one...

Yes, exactly. I'd actually say they hold a couple more than stated in practice, but you could always just have a couple. I find them nicer than dealing with the mesh bag and the plastic bucket as you don't have to go anywhere near the dirty stuff, just unzip the bag and stick it in washing machine and everything works its way out and the bag gets cleaned at the same time.

I came to say get a couple of large wet bags - one in use, one in the wash. The baba and boo large ones are great and have good designs too!

The baba and boo ones hold about 12 if that helps!

I used big baba & boo wet bags for ours, 2 so I could alternate
