Not feeling much movement :/

I’m 28 weeks pregnant and as of last week, I couldn’t get hold of any pregnancy vitamins due to bulk buying but the baby was moving perfectly as she normally does. But over the last 3 days since I’ve started retaking them, I’ve not been feeling her move as much. She gives me the odd few kicks but it’s nowhere near to what she used to do. Any ideas on what may be happening?

Sorry I don't have any idea why that may be? But would advise you to call your midwife for advice. I'm sure everything is fine but always best to check to put your mind at rest ❤️ xx

Pretty sure you should call your midwife with any reduced movements, regardless of what you think might have caused it. Good luck.

She might have just moved position. If she's kicking into your back you wont feel it as much. However you should always get reduced movements checked out so phone your helpline and arrange to be seen.

As you're 28 weeks, I would give the midwife a quick call.
I doubt it'll be anything to do with the supplements you're taking, it's probably just baby moving into a different position, but better to be safe than sorry.

I had concerns about reduced movements a few times from about 25 weeks onwards. Everything was fine and was mainly due to my tummy not growing so the little one had less room! Her movements changed from kicks to more like a “tumbling” feeling, which if couldn’t feel if I was active.
However, best to get checked. I had two extra scans just to double check everything and although it’s a worry I treated it as two extra chances to see my little girl Smile

Hope all is well OP.
Whenever I was unsure if baby had been moving a lot I would drink a cold sugary drink and lie down for 30 mins and count. He'd usually get to 20 before the 30 mins was up!

My friend started the count the kicks campaign

It saved mine and my child's life

Ring your hospital. They will probably say lie on your left(?) side and drink ice cold water and ring again in 2 hrs

However. I'm an advocate for not feeling movement

So please please. Either ring your midwife. Or the hospital where you're due to give birth.
