I'm currently 5 + 5 and I'm feeling so nausea to the point I'm nearly sick 🤢 does anyone have any tips to help this? I've really gone off my morning cup of tea too 😩

Ugh, I feel for you - I had terrible nausea for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy and it was awful. Bizarrely, I hated tea before being pregnant but really craved it in those first three months and completely went off coffee which I usually loved.

For me, I had to ditch everything I'd ever tried to stick to regarding healthy eating and just eat what I could when I felt like it. I was craving salty things and went off sweet so any sort of fruit was off limits. Dry cream crackers and ginger biscuits helped (although I know ginger doesn't do much for some people) and also I developed a serious problem with Frazzles - some days I'd have multiple packets as they were they only things I could stomach but I'd barely eat anything else. As soon as I cracked that Frazzles were a 'good' thing for me (nausea wise, not nutrition wise!) I made sure I always had some in the house and could just graze on those. I made sure I was taking my pregnancy vitamins (always with food - took one before I'd eaten dinner once and was very very sick) as baby was so small at that point that that would cover all the vitamins and nutrients they would need. I also found that the longer I went between waking up and eating something, the worse I felt so try and nibble something quite soon in the mornings. Good luck - the nausea went for me as soon as I hit 12 weeks and it has been a dream ever since, so fingers crossed it will get better for you too! Flowers

I’m 6 weeks today and in the same position but being sick also. I hope you feel better soon it is awful! I’ve found dry toast and plain jacket potatoes are good. Nothing with strong flavours. Ginger biscuits are really good too! Just eat small amounts when you can, I find eating big portions makes it worse!

Thank you so much for your replies! My friend told me just small meals and eat little and often, cereal in the morning is helping it ease off but by this afternoon I was sat near the bathroom thinking I was going to be sick 🤢 we are currently trying to decorate 2 of our bedrooms too which didn't help!!

Will definitely try the biscuits, toast was the best thing I've eaten today by far 😂
