Hi. Just wondering if or when you got induced with gestational diabetes? I am currently taking 2g metformin and insulin once a day if that makes a difference? Thanks.

I think the guidance is Induction at 37 - 38+6 depending on how the baby is growing.

Does the guidance change if you are taking insulin do you know?

Hi I'm on 2 metformin with my evening meal and currently 17 units of Humulin insulin at night (goes up each week as I can't seem to control my fasting levels!) but been for my 36 week growth scan (now 37 weeks) and baby was measuring 7lbs very average 50th centile - I do have to be induced as they don't tend to let you go to 40 weeks with GD but I'm not booked in until 39 weeks x
