10 week scan worry

Hi all!
I have had my first scan today (first child) and they have placed me at 10+1. I booked this privately as my anxiety was going wild with the worry there may be something wrong and did not want to wait another 2+ weeks. I have been told my baby is healthy and has a strong heartbeat. We were lucky to get a 3D scan as well, but there is a ball next to the baby's head not attached to anything just close by. What is this? I don't think he mentioned it at the time of the scan but then I may have zoned out looking at my wriggling baby... Any help would be great to ease my worry! X

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Could it be the yolk sac? Why don’t you get yourself a pregnancy app so you can see all the details and info as your baby grows 😊

Congrats!!

The sonographer at my scan described the yolk sac as babies lunch box :)
