Hi I just wanted to get some positive views , did a pregnancy test at around 4 weeks Came out positive at around 5 weeks 2 days I started bleeding very light then during the day it got heavier with dark red clots I passed two larges ones and then the rest were small .Went to A&e they did some blood test said it was all fine and check my cervix said it was closed , I bled for around 5 days (it’s stopped) did a pregnancy test and it came out strongly positive . Meant to go for a scan next week Monday

Did anyone else have similar situation ? Just losing hope ? Don’t know if I miscarried or not

How long ago was the colts? Can really offer any advise but I would have thought if miscarriage after a while the test would become negative as levels would drop? Xx

Sorry you experienced this, hcg stays in the system for a good few weeks after a loss so it is possible that you had a miscarriage especially with the clots and duration of bleeding. In saying that there can be other reasons for the bleeding so I hope everything goes well at your scan x

I've been going through this @Mummiestoday

To give you a bit of hope, I had a very very heavy bleed at exactly 7 weeks, it poured out of me, and I passed two huge clots (gold ball sized). We assumed we'd lost the baby and started the grieving process yet again (would have been number 5). Then it just stopped. We were worried that 'products' had got stuck so I was booked for a scan several days later.
But by some miracle, there was a little baby with a heartbeat. I've since had 2 more big bleeds. I had another scan at just over 9 weeks which showed a lovely wriggly baby and also a very large sub chorionic haematoma sitting next to baby. Its a worry but I've not bled for over two weeks now and am now resting as much as possible, including 'pelvic rest'.
I can't say what will happen but I've read a lot of positive stories. I'm now 10 +2 which is further than we've ever got in the past 4 years.

I wish you so much luck for your pregnancy and for your scan on Monday, please keep us posted (I also have a scan on Monday)

The clots came out on the same day the doctor checks my cervix whilst he was checking 5 days ago (same day I started bleeding) @Laurend0603

That’s a positive experience I love it you’ve given me some little hope , we’re in the same situation me and my partner started grieving as well but my Midwive asked me if it’s been confirmed that I miscarried by a scan I said no she said well anything is possible so I’m just hoping and praying that my baby is still there .

So glad to here your baby is okay I pray you have an amazing healthy baby and a great pregnancy ,thank you for sharing your view x
