Hi bit worried I don't really feel anything or my baby moving not sure if I'm over thinking it or even if I should be feeling anything at 16week I did have a private gender scan last week found out I'm having a little baby boy but wondering if I should be feeling movement at 16week don't have another scan until 4 week x

Hey, I'm 16 weeks and haven't felt a thing! I had a chat with a midwife yesterday and she said it was totally normal not to feel until around 20 weeks.
Don't stress, everything will be fine 🙂

I had anterior placenta with my first and didn't feel anything tangible until 26 weeks!

16 weeks is really really early to be feeling anything so try not to worry.
I didn’t even feel pregnant at that point as all my sickness/aches and pains had stopped but no bump or movement so we ended up having a private scan for reassurance.
I felt my first movements at 22/23 weeks which is perfectly normal.
Congrats on your little boy x

It's still really early if this is your first baby.

I didn't feel anything until 20 weeks with obvious kicking movements at 22+ and from what I read that's quite normal.

Try not to worry

With dd I had an anterior placenta and I never felt flutters, the first time I felt movement was when you could see or feel it from outside and that was after 20 weeks I'm sure

Try not to worry it can take a while but I found laying still at night can sometimes be a good time to see

Thank you everyone must just be other thinking it all I thought because I've already had pregnancy I'd be able to feel it sooner I need to stop reading things on google and just enjoy my pregnancy 😃
