Intense stomach pain

I had crippling stomach pains earlier, I couldn't go to the hospital because my husband had been drinking. The baby hasn't been kicking much so I'm terrified I have lost it or something is really wrong.
Has anyone had something like this? I'm 31 weeks.

Please go to the hospital if you feel as if you should be there.

Yes, go, get someone else to drive if you can't drive yourself.

And call your midwife. Looking silly is less important than making sure all is well. Don't wait !

In the meantime try eating chocolate or drinking juice and count the kicks.

I literally have no-one else to ask. I'm just trying to lie,on my left and if I'm still bad tomorrow I'll get my husband drop me to the hospital.

Phone maternity assessment just now! You can't wait until tomorrow if your not feeling any movement😢 have something sugary to eat and lie down for 20mins on your left side to see if you feel movement if not you MUST go but even if you do and you feel it's reduced you should get checked out.

Ring maternity triage inform them of your situation, they may be able to send an ambulance or a pick up service for you, please please attend tonight xxx

littlemissalwaystired · 05/05/2020 02:18

I'm a midwife - please contact your maternity unit TONIGHT and let them advise you. I would really want you to get seen. Not to scare you but if something were wrong then waiting until the morning could have dire consequences.

If you are not feeling movement and can’t trigger it with the usual tricks, call now and get assessed.

Mummyspider27 · 05/05/2020 06:57

I hope you are already there but if not you must go ASAP, you are never wasting anyones time. I hope you’re ok xx

Namenic · 05/05/2020 07:06

Please go tonight. Ring hospital - say your husband cannot take you - ask for transport in. Do mention that you feel your baby is moving less and you had intense stomach pains.

rossKemp · 05/05/2020 07:19

Ring for advice. They’ll no doubt ask you to go in. If they do you need to get there one way of another, your baby’s life could be at risk

Kittykat93 · 05/05/2020 07:32

Jesus op, not being funny but you can't leave this things till the morning. Any severe pain and/or reduced movements should be checked out ASAP. Hopefully you've called the hospital by now
