Baby measuring big

I need some advice
Does anyone know what it means when the baby is measuring a week ahead? I had an appointment last Thursday when I was 34 weeks and the doctor told me the baby is measuring a week ahead. Is this a sign of gestational diabetes?? I have been eating lots of sweet things lately 😭

Also she told me not to make an appointment for 4 weeks so I’ll be 38 weeks pregnant, is that normal? I would have thought it was too far apart.

It's nothing to worry about my baby was measuring over 2 weeks ahead at that stage then it slowed down a bit to the point that at 39 weeks he was measuring spot on he was born at 41 weeks weighing 8lb 7oz so don't worry

1 week ahead isn't really anything.

I was measuring 2 weeks ahead around that stage, he was 8lbs12oz so he was big but considering my dh had been 9lbs10oz when he was born I wasn't massively surprised.
