Hi there
I remember when I mentioned to my GP we were TTC she gave me a prescription as needed higher dose of folic as bmi slightly above 30. I never got it as happened so quick and cant find it now! I am 4 weeks now just found out and have been taking standard folic for last few days ... should I ring gp and ask for another perscription? As cant find that one feel like in will be bothering them but not seeing midwife till 8 weeks

You can buy it on Amazon. I did that after the midwife told me at my booking in appointment that I needed the higher dose. I was already around 8 weeks pregnant by then so decided it was easier to just buy some myself than getting to a gp as the midwife said it was only important in the first trimester.
