Pregnant or not

Okay, so I started spotting last Monday 30th April, pink. Barely enough for a pad. Period due this Wednesday 6th... Spotting has been on and off for 7 days now. Definitely not a normal period. I bought some tests online, early detector ones. Took one and there was a faint positive straight away, but I then read online on the reviews that there were complaints about fake positives. Did another, same happened. Faint positive again straught away. I then did one with water which came up negative. Then later in the evening, I got my partner to do one and I did another (the last one) both negative.... I've wiped again this morning and I have blood, but again not enough for a pad, it's red/browny colour. I have no pain what so ever. I normally have back pain with a period but nothing at all. My boobs have been aching for nearly two weeks now. Ovulation date was 21st April, and we had unprotected sex that day. My periods have been early on two occasions, but not spotting, a full on real period. This is different. Does any one have any advice? Opinions on those test results and the spotting would be great thank you x

What brand of test did you use? If you period isnt due till Wednesday try again with a sensitive test (b and m clear and simple are really good the stick one). It could be implantation bleeding you having dont know much about it as didnt get it. But my lines were alot fainter at certain times of the day usually morning then got darker as day went on. I would get a few more post some pics xx

They were amazon ones. But I've just done a first response and it was negative so assuming I'm not pregnant. Not sure what the spotting is though and the sore boobs. Posting a pic of the positive one

Feel like I can see a faint line on the first response can you try again in the morning have all the tests you been doing first responses? If the negative one was in the evening your wee might have been to diluted, maybe I have line eyes but can see a shadow xxx

Best time of day to test is first thing in the morning with your most concentrated wee, as HcG levels are really low early on. That one looks positive to me but not always easy to tell. If you can bear to wait until your period would have been due, I'd recommend shelling out for a digital test (or digital first response). Personally I only use the digital ones because it's too stressful trying to work out those darned lines!

Unfortunately that test I put a pic of is the possible faulty one from amazon. The early response one from 4pm this afternoon was definitely negative. I just don't know what to think. I'm thinking the amazon ones are defo duds, but why have I been spotting for a week and my boobs are sore

You should test with your first wee of the day, that's when the hormones are strongest. Try tomorrow morning and if nothing discernable, try again on the morning your period is due

Did a first response test this morning... Negative. Still spotting on and off 8 days now. Period should have been tomorrow. Think it's pretty safe to say I'm not pregnant.

Thank you. Dount it'll happen. Lucky to have sex once a week. Yet partner wants a baby. Does me in. Not sure why I'm still spotting though and the sore boobs. So annoying.

We are most of the time the same to be honest! We only recently been doing a couple of times in fertile time! Xx

I'm still spotting though been 8days today, definitely not a period. I don't know what's going on. Boobs are sore. Don't feel pregnant but now becoming concerned over the spotting. Anyone have any ideas?

Your boobs will feel sore before a period. In fact, mine were always much more sore before a period than they have been now I'm actually pregnant!

Spotting could well be a breakthrough bleed if you didn't ovulate this month. My body does that occasionally and then the period isn't a 'proper' period. Try not to worry. Keep a record of it and how long it lasts, and see what happens next month. If it happens again you need to speak to a doctor.

Thank you for your reply. My boobs have never been sore with a period, that's I'm confused. Normally I suffer from back pain and this 'period' is so light, it's just pinkish spotting. It's so strange
