Asda do a great one. It's really comfortable.

Frazzlerock · 04/05/2020 13:55

Ah I don't have an Asda near me unfortunately.

I bought this one off Amazon and it's soooooooo comfy! Slept so well since it arrived!
I have a torn rotator cuff as well, on top of being pregnant, so sleeping was horrific!
I've actually gotten sleep and oh how I have missed it! Lol!

@Frazzlerock 😊

Queen Rose full body pillow from Amazon - £50. I intend to continue using it as a breastfeeding pillow when baby arrives.

LASandOtto · 04/05/2020 16:27

I've just today received this one -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07QD2DQSJ?psc=1&ref=ppxpoppmobbbasin_title

Can remove cover and wash!
Organic
Size compared to other ones I saw on amazon too but I wanted something for support on both sides (front and back) as I toss and turn all night long (hopefully not after today)

I heard the bbhugme is really excellent but sold out everywhere and also very expensive! Maybe a second hand one is an option but for me it wasn't.

Saw the Asda one too but was sold out as well!

LASandOtto · 04/05/2020 16:28

What was meant to say - the size of the pillow (length etc) compares to the other options on amazon! X

ChampooPapi · 04/05/2020 18:57

@LASandOtto check out the one I linked, I know yours is organic which is a pull for me too, but the shape of the one I linked is definitely what your looking for and same ish price

These suggestions all look so comfy. Only thing is, are they huge? We only have a normal sized double bed and I don't want to take up all the space

I've just got a dreamgenii - really comfortable! My husband often cuddles me especially as we're falling asleep, so I didn't want one that would have been a great big physical barrier!

lockdownpregnancy · 04/05/2020 22:10

They do come quite big as they go all around your body.
I have a no size and make sure mine is right at the edge of the bed, so DH has got room! 🙈

sibbys · 04/05/2020 22:13

BBhugme! The large one!

maryd84 · 05/05/2020 09:14

I got one of those pregnancy pillows but found it too big for the bed. I stopped using it. Even though it was really comfortable it prevented me from having nice cuddles with my partner.

Frazzlerock · 05/05/2020 11:23

Yeah this is what I don't like about them. DP and I also like to have a cuddle and often put an arm over eachother during the night.

Hmm... comfort over affection Hmm

Watching with interest! I've got a crappy V-shaped pillow that I bought from a supermarket for my last pregnancy. It's great for breastfeeding but difficult to use at night as I'm a side sleeper and tend to switch sides a lot, so have to reposition the pillow each time.

Also hesitating over the full body pillow as we like a good cuddle before switching off the light.

Very frustrating that I can't go to the shops and try some out!

lockdownpregnancy · 05/05/2020 20:43

I'd get your cuddles in, on the sofa before bed!
Trust me when I say it's one of the best purchases you'll make and comfort over cuddles will happen! 😝
If you want to get it on with your DP, put the pillow on the bed after!
There's always a way! 😂

Rebelwithallthecause · 05/05/2020 20:46

I haven’t used one for either pregnancy

LASandOtto · 05/05/2020 20:49

Well ladies - update: first night with my amazon purchased pillow and it was an absolute dream!! No more tossing and turning! No more feeling like I'm slowly crushing one side of my body, then turning over to crush the other side.

Lovely washable and soft cover too!

OH got all jealous after a test lie and wants his own 😂

Can recommend the one I got and thought the price was ok! It came in a bag - not sure I'll ever manage to get it back in there was it was sandwiched in there like a sausage in its case!

2020Aug · 05/05/2020 20:55

I have the queen rose, it's quite big but we only have a double size bed and DH has plenty of room still.

Frazzlerock · 13/05/2020 15:06

@LASandOtto I received mine today! It feels gorgeous and is a good size - big enough, but not too big. I can't wait for my nap later on Grin
Thank you for the recommendation Smile
