Hi Ladies, looking for some advice - I know the easiest answer is to take a test but it's still a little early.
So I came off my pill in November (been on it for about 10 years) and just seeing what happens, not actively pursuing sex whilst ovulating ect.
So I'm due on on Wednesday (06/05/2020) and I'm normally like clockwork.
I do keep track of when we have sex on a period calendar and did it the day before ovulation on 21/04/2020.
I've gone to the toilet this morning and it "appears" that I've started my period 2 days early but I haven't had any of the usual severe cramping a get straight before my period.
Its quite light, usually on the first day of period I'm in agony with stomach cramps and this isn't there, my stomach does feel a little weird but not enough to bother me and my boobs have been killing me all week, they also feel massive! even when coming up to my period they're still just a handful but now my hands don't cover them!
Does this sound like the onset of pregnancy? Or is it just an early period?
TIA :)

It could be either to be honest, no way of knowing without doing a test.

First response (FRER) tests seem to be the best at picking up early pregnancy (or if you can't get a hold of those, coop cheapies are pretty good too).

I’d wait a few days and test. I had light bleeding and extremely sore boobs and was pregnant. I tested once the bleeding had stopped as it wasn’t a “normal” period for me, and the boobs were a give away for me!

Thanks, I've switched to pads so I can keep an eye on it better, see what happens then I'll do a test once its finished :)

It's not that early to take a test - especially using a FRER.

No way of knowing without testing - all your symptoms could easily be your period coming

I think you will be able to test now and should see a faint line, I got my first bfp about 3 days before period was due just use a sensitive brand xxx

Just been to the shops it would appear pregnancy tests are the new must have lockdown item. Managed to get a clear blue rapid test so I'll have to wait till Thursday to do it.

Good luck OP, agree could go either way but fingers crossed for you 🤞 Just wanted to add that Amazon have FRERS for a reasonable price and next day delivery (you can do a trial of prime to get it free) if you can't wait till Thursday ☺️x
