Hi

I know for scans you have to go on your own at the moment

Is this the same for antenatal appointments too?

Thanks

I haven't had any face to face appointments since 16 weeks, only at scans. It's all been done over the phone, but I think if they do go ahead you would need to go alone.

My trust says you have to attend all scans AND ante natal appointments alone.

Yes it's likely to be alone, my hospital did an over the phone booking appointment and then I had blood and urine done after the 12 week scan and not expecting to have a 16 week appointment.

My appointments are all on the phone at the moment, but I wouldn’t have taken my DH to those anyway

Unfortunately yes, had my 28 week 4 weeks ago and have my 32 week appointment tomorrow both with partner but he works all week anyway. They do let you record heartbeat if that's any help 😁

The ante natal appointments aren’t too exciting really compared to the scans, but yes it will have to be alone at the moment.

ThinkPink71 · 04/05/2020 11:39

Yeah mine have to be alone. They are fairly boring and take ten mins anyway. Hoping mine might take abit longer this time (40 weeks) ;) and hoping she might surprise me with a sweep....wishful thinking!!!! xx

The majority of mine have, and will be, phone appointments. There’s not real need to take else to your antenatal appointments anyway though.
