Hello.
I've been bleeding and pain since 6am.
Called 111, they sent me to A&E who booked me a scan tomorrow. Sent me home.
So I'm lying on the bed in pain bleeding waiting for it all to happen. Feel scared and really upset, it's horrible.
Just need a hand hold
Xx

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

So sorry you are going through this, have you had your 12 week scan? Can you phone around to try and get a scan for today? Xxx

lookingforsomehelp · 04/05/2020 08:12

Had 12 week scan two weeks ago, all fine, tests all
Fine.
I don't know where I'd call. Do you mean private? I'm worried about doing
That with aftercare xx

There might be some other Early Pregnancy Units (NHS) in your area that can see you today. Or private? It shouldn’t affect aftercare. Even if you went today for a private you would still go tomorrow to your appointment regardless of outcome. I guess it’s whether you are happy waiting. I have heard sooo many stories of people bleeding. 2 of my best friends bled a few times throughout their pregnancies. It’s obviously very worrying and stressful but everything was fine. Have everything crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Xxx

I bleed at 14 weeks. It corresponded with the date of my period. It was like a period with clots etc and I obviously thought the worst. He is now a very healthy 9 year old. Wishing you luck xx

A&E called the EPU and they can't get me in until tomorrow.
I'll try at 9 myself just in case.
Pain and bleeding getting worse
Thank you for your kind messages, I'm just so scared xx

@lookingforsomehelp Hope things calmed down, I've got everything crossed for you today x

lookingforsomehelp · 05/05/2020 09:31

Thank you both for your kind enquiries.
Yesterday was horrible, truly horrible. Bleeding has calmed overnight and I have an appointment this morning at the EPU so I will know more then. Just feeling a bit all over the place physically and emotionally today!

What a shock - I do hope all is ok today at your scan. Take care of yourself.

coffeeorwine · 05/05/2020 12:26

Just wanted to give a hand hold and that I had this and baby is currently ok at 19 weeks - crossing everything for you.

Mummyspider27 · 05/05/2020 17:44

How are you @lookingforsomehelp ? Been thinking about you today xx

lookingforsomehelp · 05/05/2020 17:54

Hello ladies,
Thank you for your thoughts and kind comments. It's been a stressful morning so been asleep this afternoon.
Good news and bad news from the appointment. Good news cervix closed and baby had a heartbeat, blood covering cervix but seems old blood.
Bad news is they can’t give me a reason for the blood and can’t guarantee it won’t happen again, or that the preganaby won’t be affected by it.
As the lady said ‘today it’s all fine’ so I suppose I’m going to have to take it a day at a time. I’m a natural worrier anyway so I’m so panicked it’s going to start again and lead to a full MC! It’s going to be a long pregnancy.
Thank you for all your messages of support 😊
