Morning all,
I have been bleeding since 6am
And had pain. 111 said I should go to A&E and I've been and they've sent me home to wait for a scan tomorrow. There's nothing to do. I'm lying in bed waiting for a miscarriage and it's horrible horrible.
Need a hand hold
Xx

Hand hold OP and a big hug too!!
I hope that it's nothing and that it's some simple explanation for you!
Try and do something around the house (if you can) to try and keep your mind occupied. I have no other advice, as I can't imagine how you're feeling!
I really hope everything is ok for you! Do keep us posted, as there are bound to be others that pop a comment on today ❤️❤️❤️

Hand hold from me, OP.

I had bleeding daily from 18 weeks until 23 - some big gushes of dark red blood, some brown spotting. I had to go in each time for fresh bleeds or if spotting got heavier to be examined and listen to HB. I had something called a subchorionic hematoma which is a pool of blood outside the sac ( mine was just in front of mu cervix ) so no impact to baby whatsoever but bloody terrifying especially as you relax after 12 weeks and think all is okay. I hsd to have scans every 2 weeks to check on the bleed size but it reabsorbed at around 23 weeks and was nowhere to be seen on a scan - it'll either all reabsorb or come out if it is a SCH.

Oh, and that baby is now 4 months old, babbling away in his swing while I drink tea!

Morning,

I had a gush of red blood at 14 weeks as well (no pain) did the same as you went a & e cervix was closed scan booked for later in the week, next day had another gush so they did a scan that day and baby was fine and they couldn't see any reason for the bleeding. That week I had a few more heavy bleeds each time cervix was closed and they wouldn't do another scan. Had a private scan about a week after the first bleed and again showed baby was all good, I had 2 weeks of brown spotting after that first week of heavy bleeding and it then stopped. I am now 25 weeks and baby is healthy and kicking away and they still can't explain the bleeding, my midwife suggested at my 16 week appointment that I could have had cervical erosion. Hope all is well but I can understand your panic Flowers

Thank you ladies for some encouraging stories at this time and for the hand hold.
I have had a clot too and continual pain which is really worrying.
It's such an awful thing for us women to go through, truly terrifying.
I don't even know what happens as the next step. If I'll need an op or what if things are not good? Sitting here scared
