Hi All, I'm a Mummy to a beautiful girl who will be three September. We've just found out I'm pregnant again (very early/ 5-6 weeks maybe?!) I was intrigued to find out how your second time pregnancy differed from your first? Xx

@Laura3151 My sister said the same (she has one of each) and had sweet cravings with her daughter too so we will see! I have a feeling it's a boy though. We have a little boy alreadySmile

18 weeks with baby no. 2 and have a just turned 2yo. All of a sudden I have a prominent bump and felt flutters and kicks from 16 weeks. Had morning sickness till about 17 weeks and lack of appetite is still here (thank goodness because I don't think I could control myself with the lockdown situation!)
Struggling with working from home. Finding my teaching job just as stressful but I think that's in part due to my hormones as well. They are all over the place and I am offended by everything. Luckily I've recognised this and taken steps to sort it as it was making me miserable. Developed anxiety after my first and it comes and goes right now but being at home is actually helping.
Neither of my babies were planned and this one shocked me even more but I feel excited for the future.

I've thought of another one: I'm actually thinking about life once DS2 is born. During the first pregnancy I just wasn't thinking beyond the big looming terror that was labour and was a bit shocked when it was over and I had a baby to look after Hmm Now I know what to expect I'm not fixated on the birth, which is nice!

Hello, I'm pregnant with number 2, 5-6 weeks too.
I've a 19 month old.
I was so so ill with DS right from about 3 days before my period was due, nausea was awful, dizzy, hot flushes, smell of pizza at work making me heave, my friend actually joked 'pregnant?'... Did a test the next morning, was positive.
This Continued til shout 17 weeks!
Never actually sick, maybe once or twice but just constant heaving, gagging, nausea.
I cried most days!

This time (so far) I'm feeling mostly OK, which is really worrying me. I expected to feel the same as first pregnancy.
Minimal nausea, lots of bloating, constipation, very tired (which may be due to toddler too), and very emotional!

Congratulations! Hope your pregnancy goes smoothly!

Thanks for everyone's replies. @Popcat120 I can really related to that today I feel like a rotten apple and just put another post on thinking I may have got my dates wrong as with my first I was later until I experienced the nausea etc. The heaving is just the worse, I think I've just forgotten how it knocks you around and my daughter's on 2.5 years Blush. Congratulations on your pregnancies everyone. Xx
