I can’t put my finger on it but I keep getting mild period like pains and lower back ache the last few days my last baby was born 6 weeks early so i don’t know if my anxiety is playing up and I’m just feeling things more but I just don’t feel right if that makes sense still loads of baby movements trying to relax as much as possible any advice would be great xx

As always if you have any concerns call the hospital for advice Flowers

Could it be a water infection / constipation / round ligament pain?
I'm always an advocate of mothers instinct though so maybe worth a call to the midwife but without any bleeding and baby still moving plenty there's no main indicators anything is wrong and at the moment they won't want you anywhere near a hospital unless completely necessary. I think you can still pay for private scans so if the money is worth putting your mind at rest maybe try that.
My DS was born early too and currently 19 wks pregnant with DC2 so understand your anxiety, maybe try a nice bath and and read a book or podcast to take your mind off it and think of a nice project to keep your mind busy tomo?

Please call the hospital for advice. Never ignore symptoms.

I love making lists to keep my mind busy, I've done one for things I need to rebuy for baby number2 like a new feeding pillow, new crib mattress etc then like looking at all the options. It gets me excited for the new arrival, just in case you might enjoy that too

peachesancream · 05/05/2020 15:32

How are you feeling @Caitlin2020

Caitlin2020 · 05/05/2020 20:56

Feeling a lot better thanks I’m thinking it may just be stretching pains but eased off now x

I’m 29 weeks too and have started with period like cramps over the past week. I’ve read it could be Braxton Hicks. It’s not painful and comes and goes. Only in my lower stomach and not my back though. I’ve not been too worried but if you are ring maternity assessment.
