Bleeding at 5 weeks, no pain and positive tests still

Hi all,
I’m currently 5+3 and am bleeding. My partner and I had sex yesterday morning and afterwards, I noticed pinky blood when I wiped. This has continued until today but has gotten brighter in color. I’m not bleeding enough to fill pads and it seems to only be when I wipe.
Has anyone else had this and everything has turned out okay? Many thanks x

I should add, I have had miscarriages in the past, 2 MMC and 2 chemical pregnancies.
When I bled with the chemical pregnancies, it was heavy and period like. This bleeding is nothing like that, so very confused x

Hi @Naihr90. I found out I was pregnant last Monday with a light test line on a pregnancy test. Then Tuesday I started with brown spotting which went on through to Wednesday. Then on Thursday I wiped and it was red. Nothing was going into my pad but everytime I wiped there would be red blood and this carried on until Sunday. Then started with brown spotting again and still getting it today but very very very light and not there all the time when I wipe.
I took a test yesterday morning and the lines were very dark and got a positive on a digital.
I rang my GP and he said that it’s very common to have bleeding and advised that if I’m still concerned next week then I can ring again and he’ll get me booked in for an early scan, I’ll be 6 weeks by then.

How are you feeling today?

Thank you for your reply Nannon.
I’m feeling okay but sadly the bleeding has continued and I’ve had negative tests.
I hope everything goes okay at your scan Smile

@Naihr90 sorry to hear that. Did the bleeding get worse can I ask?

Naihr90 · 05/05/2020 11:23

Yes it did, quite a bit heavier. It’s very much like a period now :(
I’m pretty gutted as this is my 5th miscarriage, really hoped this one would have stuck
