I am pregnant with my first baby (currently 36 weeks) and am due to go back for a scan next week. The baby has been showing as transverse on all scans and the midwife always finds that the baby is transverse. I also have a low lying placenta which is probably why the baby is transverse. Just wondered if anyone had any experiences in what to expect. I have been prewarned that I will need a C Section but was not sure if I will be admitted early into hospital or if they just leave you till you are due to give birth. I am worried and it is even harder as there are no antenatal classes, etc.
