I don't think so, if you have put weight back on then its probably ok. I found I never put on much weight in pregnancy so I wouldn't worry not every gets huge.

I would not worry. I am 37weeks pregnant now and have only put on about 5lbs at the most

thanks guys, was just a bit worried that all the books and mags say i should have gained a certain weight and i havn't. but i won't worry anymore, or atleast untill the midwife announces i have scurvy.

Don't weigh yourself & don't worry! As long as you're eating healthily and the midwife can feel that the baby is getting bigger then your own weight doesn't really matter.

It's easy to get hung up on comparing to statistics in mags & books etc but while these might tell you what the average measurement is they don't often tell you how wide the range of "normal" is.

Hi, I've 22 weeks and haven't put much weight on (about 3.5kg) I didn't really have morning sickness but just lost interest in food. My midwife said not to worry, that as long as I'm not skipping meals I should be fine. My last scan showed that the baby was totally normal and that all is wel in there. And I am starting to feel a little more hungry these days, I'm sure you will catch up x

You are probably just about to start your "Oh my god I am so HUNGRY" phase. Don't worry if you don't, your baby will be fine.

I put on half a stone in total when I was pg. I think it was not drinking alcohol and also I was lucky to not have bad morning sickness so I didn't need to snack to help with nausea. Just ate more or less normally and so was probably losing excess fat as I gained the normal extra pg weight.

As soon as ds was born weighing a healthy 7lbs 12oz I weighed less than I had before I got pg.

Ten months on, I weigh considerably more....
