Hi all 😊
Just looking for a bit of advise as my first...getting strong postive tests now and confirm with digital according to when my last period was I al 4 weeks 2 days.
Today and yesterday (my period should have been due tosay) I have been quite crampy and twingy..achy legs and sides and yesterday felt like af was coming...no blood and still positive test. Is it normal to feel crampy this early? Xx

Hi OP, I had similar around the time when AF would have been due. It felt like I was about to come on any minute for about a week or so (I'm now 25 weeks)
Congratulations.

Completely normal. I also bled a little bit the day af was due which I am assuming was implantation bleeding. Cramping and pains are now the new normal to be honest... I had so much panic and worry due to period type cramps and lower backache but was assured many times it's all part and parcel due to stretching and muscles softening 😊 I'm now 28 weeks and still cramp.

Jinxing isn't a real thing, just a superstition, don't worry about it.

Yes, I cramped so much in the days before my period was due that I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant and didn’t even bother testing until I was two days late! Cramps lasted until about 8 weeks, also had some brownish spotting but it all turned out fine.

sel2223 · 03/05/2020 10:37

My OH literally could not keep his gob shut in the early days....the more he tried, the more he would end up blurting something out 🙈 he was just ridiculously excited about it all lol.
It used to drive me crazy but I'm not a massively superstitious person so knew it wouldn't actually jinx us or anything....it would have just been awkward telling people if something went wrong.

Laurend0603 · 03/05/2020 10:40

Aw thanks ladies! Yes I think my other half is excited which is nice I cant decide when to tell my parents or my best friend would love to now xx
