Some advice after a misscarrage

I had a natural misscarrage on the 8th-12th at 2-3 weeks after the bleeding had stopped (sorry if upsetting too some) we decided too try again strait today I've been having pregnancy signs again boobs feel bigger feeling bloated so decided too do some tests and both a clear blue and a first response have come up positive with a solid clear line prior too this my tests were getting lighter and lighter it was first indication something was wrong (this happened before I had the misscarrage) I was wanting any advice because I can not get too talk too doctor's till Monday dose anyone think this could be a new pregnancy or can your hcg levels keep rising after a misscarage after the bleeding had stopped I felt rather normal dint have cramps my breasts stopped feeling sensitive just woundering if it can kick start again with pragancy signs and a strong hcg level any advice would be appreciated

Same thing happened to me, I now have a happy, bubbly 4 year old. I think I did an ovulation test a couple of weeks following the mc. Was completely paranoid the whole pregnancy of having another miscarriage though. Best of luck

It's nice too know its possible honestly been going out my mind I did a cheaper test yesterday and it barely showed anything I just put it down too my imagination and just wanting too be only decided too take a better test today due too my boobs feeling sensitive this morning again just worried hate not knowing especially now it's a full weekend too wait which isn't long but I'm a very stressful person imagination

Got told by my doctors midwife that it's impossible too get pregnant that quickly and too retake the test in a week :/ don't really know what too do about it now

An early miscarriage is like a period so you can date the first day of the miscarriage like the first day of a period. This means your first cycle date was 8th April, if you have regular 28 day cycles you likely ovulated around the 22nd April. You can get a faint positive test around ten days after ovulation so 2nd May for you.

Test again closer to the 8th May and see what happens. It’s not impossible to get pregnant straight after a miscarriage, it’s quite common.

Sorry to hear that. I'm surprised by the advice from the midwife and the fact she never mentioned twins! You can MC 1 twin then continue the pregnancy with the other one. My cousin had this. Her hcg blood levels dropped slightly, then continued to rise after the MC.

The only way to check is with a scan and to also to rule out an ectopic. Have you had any pain, in particular 1 sided pains?

I had alot off pain before the bleeding happened but it was like a burning censation across my lower adomanl area not in one place persifictly and after the pain just stopped recently I have been having craps but more like pulling censation which was going on in several places so I would say it was not in one place right now I am but honestly I'm a like that if I read something I allways end with the symptoms strait after and the midwife never said that any thing else was a possibility so now I'm confused and upset

The midwife is wrong, you can absolutely get pregnant again that quickly. You can ovulate 1-2 weeks after a miscarriage; I did! I miscarried on 19 March and conceived again on 4 April. Now 6+4.

I really just don't know what too do I'm scared if it is something more serious that longer I leave it its gonna end up causing me huge complications in getting pregnant in future I just though I could be pregnant again and now I can not settle and I have too wait a week for them too help me

I would contact your GP directly. I was told to take a test , 10 days and 14 days after starting to bleed which I did and got two complete negatives. I then got a strong positive on 17th April.

You must speak to your GP of you are concerned

It was my gp I got in touch with they keep passing me over too the same midwife so I don't know what too do feel like I'm just being tossed aside honestly

Do another test tomorrow and if positive, ask your GP for a referral to the local early pregnancy unit. The only other option would be to try booking a private scan.

Hello it can definitely happen I had a miscarriage in November and fell pregnant again Christmas day according to my dates! Im now 21 weeks pregnant and everything is as it should be so good luck getting to the bottom and I sincerely hope it's the news your wanting x

See as well as far as I'm conserned there is a clear line getting stronger on the tests further left is dated today they was done a day apart for past 6 days and further right was end off April when I was checking too make sure it was negative

It isn't impossible. I conceived 3 weeks after my 3rd miscarriage. Also ended in another miscarriage but I think 3 within 8 months had taken its toll on my body

Hi , I'm new on here . I had a positive pregnancy test a month ago. Which showed 3 -4 weeks preg. Then started spotting and gradually bleeding , redone pregnancy kept getting faint positive line was told by gp could be a miscarriage happening. Been to hospital had scan done , they couldn't see anything in the womb, did blood test hcg levels were going down so its must've been a miscarriage 😭😭 (2nd miscarriage in 2 years) . Just over a month now , still shows a faint line on pregnancy test. Does hcg take so long to get out of system ? Been trying for a baby for so long now a good few years
