Was just wondering if anyone could help and give me some advice, I recently had a baby 3 months ago - (14 weeks to the day) I bled after birth for around 4 weeks then sometime later end of march not exactly sure of the dates around 25 th or 26 th till 30 maybe I think... I had a normal period and now I'm 6 days late on my next period and I havnt used contraception we had sex on the 4 th April and I think I might have ovulated on the 5 th as had a lot of stringy cm.. and did a pregnancy test twice - clear blue on the 23 Rd and 29 th April - BFN.
I was meant to probably have menstruation starting anywhere around 23rd or 24 th... Apríl we are now 1 May... So about 7 days late? But nothing - nada... Nil....
I would be thrilled to fall pregnant but I don't believe in miracles lol as our first was an ivf due to me having a low egg count. We have used our produce BTW lol 😂
So what shall I do... Wait for another pg test?
I have stopped exclusively breastfeeding around first week of March and started to combine with formula. And only BF here and then to comfort her.
has anyone else just had irregular periods after having a baby??Grin

Normal for it to be irregular - perhaps just retest every week or so until your period comes or BFP?
Would consider using some contraception though, babies very close together can be a real strain on your body and carries some higher risks of pregnancy complications, esp if you had CS. Obviously the choice is yours but just a thought! Good luck either way.

Thank you for the comment I was just wondering if there are any other ladies that had positive so late in? 💖 I am nearly 40 so my clock is ticking.... 😅
