6 weeks pregnant bleeding and no baby on scan?

I was spotting first pink blood now after 4 days it's bright red. Cramps are either non existent or mild cramps. No heavy clotting. Just very small stringy bits sometimes. Has anyone experienced the same?

I had an internal scan done today and there was no baby or no sac. My womb was empty and it showed bleeding. What could have gone wrong? She said it's either gone earlier on ( I never noticed) or hiding or to early to scan. Hiding meaning it could ectopic. Any advise with anyone experiencing similar? I should be 6 weeks 4 days. Feeling sad but just want answers. Even starting to think maybe the whole pregnancy was in my head. But I had two positive tests. And I've had a pregnancy before. Not even sure why I'm bleeding.

Hi, sorry you're going through this. Are you sure of your dates? At 6 weeks pregnant with an internal scan I would definitely expect to see at least a sac at the minimum. However if your dates aren't accurate then it could just be too early. Bleeding can be indicative of early miscarriage but can also be normal, scans are usually the best way to determine what's what but in your case it's still uncertain. Have they booked you in for a rescan?

Sorry to hear that OP. Did they take bloods for HCG? They'd usually repeat in a few days to see if the level is rising or falling. What are the next steps? Another scan?

Yeah they took my bloods and will tell me tomorrow. I have to go in on Sunday and give some more blood.

I've had two ectopics but they were live with heartbeats and visible by 6+4 and ruptured

If your hcg levels are still rising then it's most likely an ectopic but if you are bleeding then it's a sign your body is trying to repair itself x

Hi everyone,am actually new here but unfortunately for me having a huge challenge with my pregnancy as I type I do not know if anyone has this type of problem am having now so u could tell me what to do…
I go pregnant before the Christmas last year but started bleeding 1week after I realised I was pregnant I was rushed to the hospital the doctors did series of scan but it showed no baby in the uterus nor anywhere but my pregnancy hormone kept on rising … a week later I went for another check up then the doctor saw some tissues in my uterus and asked to me go for a d&c and of which I did after the d&c the pregnancy hormone was suppose to drop but it didn’t but rather kept on rising and am still bleeding they did another scan today to check my fallopians tubes ovaries uterus and saw nothing the Uterus is empty,now getting so scared what could be my problem now cause the hormone keep rising (Beta h)keep rising please Any help of advice here cos am really getting so devastated and weary
