No Screening Test Result?

The radiographer told me my nuchal test score was normal at my scan.

I thought the nuchal was combined with blood markers and your age to get a risk score, so 1/50 or whatever. Then the risk score is either low, medium or high and you are told about amnio or CVS if required?

I went for my 16 week appointment today. The appointment was possibly 3mins long maximum and the midwife didn't tell me the results of the test. I forgot to ask because I turned up in the wrong place after being sent the wrong letter and they were obviously cross at me, and I was apologising for something that wasn't my fault, so we were already off to a bad start.

I'm trying to follow this up but just wanted to double check I'm not going mad? I asked for screening, the radiographer did the screening test (she said) so I should have more feedback than just the radiographer saying it's 'normal'?

You should get a letter with your results, unless there has been a change due to covid?

I would ring your midwife straight away, she might be able to give you your results but if not she will need to book you in for another test.

Please don't be made to feel like a pain, that's what they are there for!

Wolfgirrl is right, you should get a letter through the post with your results.
I would call the midwife or your GP as they would be able to see the result if they have arrived yet

Thanks, no letter has come through the post.

The community midwife team in my area only have a voicemail not an actual manned phone number, but I left a message with my details asking if they could put the results in the post with maybe a leaflet to explain them. Hopefully I get something through soon.

Did you do a blood test or just the scan?

Sorry - ignore me, you mentioned that. As above, chase with your midwife
