Hello I’m looking for some advice I’m 16 and just found out I’m pregnant I told the father and he wants nothing to do with it I have a job but don’t know what to do

You still have plenty of time to decide, so take your time over this.

How far along are you? Do you want to keep the baby? If so, what support do you have? The father will have to pay child support whether he wants the baby or not, but it’s unlikely to be much if he is also 16. Do you live with your parents and if so have you told them?

There is lots of support available if you decide to keep the baby, particularly if you have family who will help. But you are very young and this will drastically change your life. There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with choosing to have a termination if you don’t want to continue the pregnancy (assuming it’s not to far along). You would not be a bar person and it would be nothing to feel guilty about.

I think you need to discuss this with an adult you trust - do you have a parent, relative or teacher you could talk to?
