I realised today that it had been a while since my last period and I’ve been feeling a bit ick today so did a test and I’m pregnant. We’ve got 2 young children and needed fertility treatment. I’m on the mini pill and we were not planning anymore children so finding out I’m pregnant is unbelievable. My husband has been struggling with his mental health so I’m worried how he’ll take the news. My biggest worry is that because this was unplanned I have been taking medications. I am on 100mg of setraline daily, have been taking my contraceptive pill, I had my MMR last week, and was taking ibuprofen and codeine a couple of weeks ago and obviously haven’t been taking folic acid. I’m so worried about what effect all of these will have had. I’ve booked a GP phone appointment for tomorrow but I’m just wondering if anyone has experience of taking any of these medications in pregnancy? Thanks
