I don't know what to think ...am I miscarrying?!

Hi everyone,
I am in a bit of a conundrum. Last Wednesday I got my BFP after trying since the start of the year - a bit of back info I came after Cerazette, didn't bleed at all for 2 and a half years and didn't have a proper period so the BFP came as a bit of a surprise.
On Saturday, I started to have some light bleeding and was referred to my EPU - nothing showed on the scan but they said it was still early and my HCG was at 300. I went back 48 hours for a blood test and it had gone down to 222 and I was told I was miscarrying. I, of course, found this news very difficult and cried my eyes out for days. Due to some unexplained cramping, I feared it was ectopic so I went to A and E and my bloods showed a slight rise (12 hours after the previous blood test) to 283. 3 days later, I went for a scan in the EPU and they couldn't see anything in my tubes or uterus but my bloods had continued to rise, all be it a small amount to 367. I am scheduled to have weekly blood tests to monitor this but been told to anticipate the worst - which I am.
My pregnancy tests are showing a progression from 2-3 weeks to 3+ weeks on the digital test and the secondary line is getting stronger and stronger each time I do it ... am I miscarrying?!!! Has anyone else had a similar experience?
(couple of other things to note is that I have an ectropic cervix which may account for the bleeding doctors say and I still "feel" pregnant)
HELP!!!

Are you still bleeding? Have you passed clots? Abit of cramping that is not unbearable pain wise is normal.
Good luck Flowers

I'm really sorry, only time will tell I'm afraid. A pregnancy test may still show as positive even after a miscarriage has been confirmed so I would stop testing for now. When I had my miscarriages, I was told to test after 3 weeks to see if they were negative, they were for me but it can take even longer sometimes. It's a horrible waiting game to be in, but you'll get through each day and week. Wishing you all the best, and I really hope it isn't a miscarriage but it's difficult to say which way it'll go at this point.

Hey everyone sorry to be a pain but I honestly am so confused and soo complicated my situation. Had really swollen tender boobs but was on cerazette and never get swollen breasts in 3 years was on it and didn't get periods every month I would get one every other month would last for 3 days really light. Anyway docs said stop my pill get hcg and ectopic bloods done because had faint line on tests which must been evap. Bloods were negative and ectopic wasnt detected they said take another hpt in a week. Day after bloods I bled really light for 2 days then it stopped. I did a test the next week was faint positive on different brands again cheapie but negative on cb. I started bleeding 7 days ago from today and stopped yesterday it was weird not like a heavy period or pain had few light cramps here and there and was brown like mud on pad then few spots of bright red now and then and light pink blood no discharge then looked black in pad aswell stopped bleeding yesterday was light pink tissue when wiping then that went but still having lot of creamy white discharge on tissue when wipe since yesterday. Did a tesco test night before last night night was faint positive but clear and one yesterday morning really faint can barely tell it there now waiting for fr test and cb to arrive in delivery. My brother says I'm spotting but is that normal for 7 days. Sorry for essay just all over place 🙈appreciate all feedback x @

As another poster said only time will tell which is awful I know. Although I would say I had cramping on and off throughout my second pregnancy, particularly in the early days and everything was fine

Thank you @SabrinaTheTeenageBitch I appreciate this it's soo frustrating x

OP - I’m sorry you’re going through this. hopefully they talked to you about the fact that this may still be an ectopic? I assume you don’t have any idea about possible dates as you haven’t been getting periods? As people have said, only time will tell really how things will go, but it doesn’t seem encouraging. I think you are right to feel pessimistic. With hcg rise of less than 60% over 48 hours it’s very very unlikely this is a viable ongoing pregnancy, I’m sorry. (yours is 60% over 3.5 days if we ignore the one done only 12 hrs apart, too close).
Fingers crossed you are a rare exception to the rule - but if you have any pain, or fainting spells, you need to call your EPU (or an ambulance) as an ectopic pregnancy can still cause complications even if it hasn’t been seen on scan yet.
Also - home pregnancy tests won’t tell you the answer and will probably just mess with your head, esp the CB digi ones.
Wish you all the best And fingers tightly crossed you have an answer soon.
