Parsley and coriander ?

Hi 👋
Pregnant 7 weeks 2 days, first pregnancy. Worried about parsley and coriander, I add the stuff to everything I cook. In fact can't cook without it but google tells me it's bad for me in the first 3 months? doesn't say so on the NHS website, I was gonna ignore it until I read on here some people saying it's actually bad for you? can someone please help and get me out of my misery?
Also another question, when I sleep I've always been a side sleeper but now sleeping on any side hurts like hell and I have to constantly swap sides, is this normal? luckily I'm getting enough sleep but still waking up just to change sides isn't fun at all....

Thanks!

I’ve never heard this. If it’s not on the NHS list don’t worry about it

Coriander should be avoided because it's disgusting. Wink

Herbs & spices are fine. Just use the NHS for advice, there's not that much to avoid really.

Yeah coriander is gross

A lot of American sites include salads and herbs on their websites, but this is not an issue in the UK. Our list is very different to theirs because of the processes our foods go through (I.e. runny eggs safe in the UK if lionstamped which majority are, but not safe in other countries). Print out the NHS list to refer to and ignore everything else, google is not your friend when pregnant trust me it’s not worth the stress.

Having crap sleep is one of the many lovely perks of being pregnant, I was awful at the beginning and barely slept because of hip pain and vivid dreams. I’m now almost 25 weeks and despite being massive and getting tired just from turning around, I actually sleep a lot better now. Very normal don’t worry!

Just follow nhs. Some of those random websites would have you believe drinking water is bad for you.
