I'm 24 weeks with DC2. Physically I've been very tired from the word go, had hoped it would improve in the second trimester but it's getting worse! Yesterday I did a bit of cleaning in the morning and it wiped me out for the rest of the day. I've just popped 10 minutes up the road to the post office and I've come home needing a lie down Confused

I'm not working at the moment so am lucky that I can take an afternoon nap at the same time as DS (3), which helps a lot. DH is home while the schools are off, which has been a godsend as well.

I look bigger than 24 weeks as I'm only 5'1, already using maternity pillows and so on, so I wonder if size is a factor. I don't remember being this exhausted with DS and don't fancy another 4 months of feeling like I'm already at the end of my pregnancy! Anyone else been like this?

Sorry OP, I’ve been like this the whole way through and it’s still going on now (33 weeks)

Sickness has reappeared now too!

Some days I’ve just been completely wiped out no matter what, some days all I have to do is fill the dishwasher and I’m out for the rest of the day 😳 I’ve had an odd day here and there where I’ve had loads of energy and done all the housework and even painted my bedroom one day so have been able to catch-up a little bit on those days. Aside from that I’m just testing as much as I can and trying really hard not to put pressure on myself to get things done or guilt for resting, itll all still be there when this is over and things are getting better!

Me.

Third pregnancy, 22 weeks now and I always feel like I’m wading through treacle all the way through. It’s horrible and I long to feel normal again.

The day after my c sections I’ve felt on top of the world each time because that awful, tired, foggy headed feeling goes away.

Sorry to hear you're the same @MoonBlood, but it's reassuring to know that it's not just me! I don't want to get too dependent on DH, he's doing a fabulous job looking after us and I don't want him to start thinking I'm taking the piss. I have a reputation with my PILs for "always being tired" (funny how it's only when they're around) and it's frustrating that pregnancy is making me more tired than ever. At least I don't have to see them at the moment though Grin

Had a little nausea at the beginning, never had any with DS so suspected this one might be a girl, and it is! So am blaming the extra tiredness on this being a DD...
