Left shoulder / upper arm pain

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone else has had this?

Im 24+5, FTM, and have had pain in my left shoulder and upper arm for the last 10 days or so. It's a dull ache rather than a shooting pain and it gets steadily worse throughout the day....by the evening it really starts to bother me. I thought it was a trapped nerve at first but it's not going away and I've been trying all sorts like extra pillows/fewer pillows/no pillows, yoga, stretches, rest, elevating it....

It doesn't feel bad enough to bother the midwife with but I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom?

I may be wrong here but I think I was told this could be a symptom of pre eclampsia? It might be nothing but ring your midwife

@artistformerlyknownas I've been looking online and it seems to say that the right shoulder/arm can be pre eclampsia but I can't find anything about the left hand side.
I think I'm just gonna ring up tomorrow and ask the question just in case.
