SMP / Maternity Allowance

Advice please-

There’s 13 weeks at the end of my maternity leave where I would not be receiving pay or SMP. Can I apply for Maternity Allowance for these 13 weeks if I choose to stay off for them?

You have either SMP or MA, you dont get both. MA is for when you dont qualify for SMP.
