Hey
I'm currently 9 weeks. First pregnancy. Just wondered if there's any type 1 diabetics currently pregnant or had a baby and able to offer any advice/ support.
I'm already under the diabetes antenatal team and had my first appointment. My consultant is keep a close eye on my blood sugars.

@LH1987 ohhh that's so exciting I hope everything goes smoothly for you

@Wolfgirrl great to hear from another fellow T1 and Im sure I'll have plenty of questions to come Grin

It's really reassuring to hear from other t1 ladies out there cause it doesn't feel the same talking to friends and family that have had children that don't have the same medical issues as me. I as I mentioned I have my first scan on Sunday and decided to go private so that my partner could be there for the first scan also, whether it turns out to be good or bad news, I would feel bad if he missed out on that. But until then this week will go soooooo slow Confused
