Hi all,

I found out a few days ago I am expecting our 1st miracle baby, after so many tough times. We're both really excited. I am around 6 weeks, the nausea has been quite bad the past few days but today its not too bad, is that normal? I dont "feel" pregnant yet, is that normal too?

Thanks!

Congratulations!

That sounds totally normal! Symptoms come and go and everyone has different symptoms along the way. Enjoy the days you feel OK as I find the nausea returns in a day or 2!! If it doesn't, you might just be one of the lucky ones who doesn't really get the nausea symptom!

It's also normal to feel a little anxious / worried, but just try to take things one day at a time and enjoy it where you can.

Congratulations OP!
I didn't feel pregnant at all! Not until a few weeks ago when I started to get a bump. I'm 18 weeks now.
I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't suffer through the first trimester. I had a few bad pains here and there, few shitty headaches and the odd day just feeling 'odd' but I never 'felt' pregnant.
As pp said, symptoms do come and go but if you are ever concerned contact your midwife, or GP just to put your mind at ease!
I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy! 🥰🥰🥰
