Hi this is going to be a long message just a little warning in advance.. I’m not sure as I can’t go to the doctors and get a second opinions because of coronavirus I’m worrying more..

But
My daughter is 4 months old today, she is off her milk and hardly napping in the day. Today she has two bright yellow poos with a tiny bit of mucus in. She is constantly chewing her hands and I think she is teething.
On the advice of my HV I have begun to wean her off comfort milk into regular infant stage 1 milk. She never seems proper hungry & if I feed her too early she doesn’t have the full bottle.

Anyone experienced any of this. I’m fully aware that she is going through a sleep regression is this the cause?
Thank you in advance x

They can get funny poos and nappy rash etc when teething, could also be why she's not sleeping properly.

Are you able to phone your HV or GP for some advice?

I would assume that it’s teething related, especially if she’s also clingy and dribbling, babies bodies do all sorts of strange things when they’re teething so try not to worry too much and just continue trying to encourage her to have milk. The teething granules are also really goodSmile However mucus in poo can also be evidence of the body fighting off a cold so if she’s been unwell it could be to do with that. The most worrying thing in babies to keep an eye out for is high unexplained temperature, struggling to breathe or not feeding. If she’s really not taking any milk and it’s starting to affect her nappies (not weeing enough) then definitely get medical advice.
