Shoulder pain

Hello all, I'm hoping for some advice. I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant and since friday I have been experiencing shoulder pain across both shoulders (switching sides) and sore arms. My jaw has also been aching. On Friday I went to bed at 8pm because I just felt so poorly and tearful due to the pain and feeling sick. Initially i dismissed it at muscle ache from working out but it's gone on for too long. Has anyone had anything similar? TIA

Ungh, under normal circumstances I would say go to an osteopath... are you taking magnesium at all? Check with someone medical first, but it sorts out all my muscular issues pretty swiftly. Now that I'm only sleeping on my side my shoulders and upper back feel 'crunchy' a lot of the time.

From my completely non-medical perspective, I would suggest pregnancy yoga to release the jaw, which should help the shoulders, if it's tension (either from emotional or physical stress). Does this sound useful at all?

Following as I have been getting the same, although mine is only on the left side.
I'm lying in bed now and my whole left shoulder and arm is throbbing.

Thanks for your reply @CoolNoMore my pregnancy vitamins have magnesium in, I will research to see if there is anything else I can take. I do pregnancy pilates once a week, some yoga is a good shout.

@sel2223 sorry to read your in pain too, I hope you got some sleep

Yeah, but I'm on 240mg and my pregnancy vitamins only have 58mg. As I said before, check with someone professional first, but a high dose sorts me out.
