35 weeks feeling very ill

Last night and for today (and even worse in the last few hours) I have felt so ill it’s unreal. I feel extremely light headed and like I’m about to faint and like my body weighs a million stone. I’ve also been v clammy. I’ve been trying to get my house work done but I genuinely can’t stay up.
Has/does anyone else have this?
I felt my cervix myself earlier and it was high and very very soft. Also a lot of discharge. Can this be a sign of early labour?

Please get checked out, better safe than sorry especially as you are feeling worse.

Phone your midwife and talk to them, then phone 111 if necessary. You may need to get your blood pressure checked.

JustHavinABreak · 26/04/2020 21:05

You need to contact your midwife now

Sendhelppls · 26/04/2020 21:15

Does anyone know what it could be? Or just something small like temporary low blood pressure/sugar

It could be pre eclampsia.

Make sure you call and speak to the triage midwife.

LightDrizzle · 26/04/2020 21:23

Yes, you need to be checked for pre eclampsia. It’s very dangerous but manageable if caught.

Get on the phone to your midwife, OP: don’t delay; listen to your body. You know you’re not ok so get the professionals in to check you out.
