I'm doing a bit of research for my daughter who's expecting her first baby in late September. Has anyone got this system, if so would you recommend? Do most people buy all in one systems or pick and choose pram, pushchair and car seat separately? TIA

I got the the ickle bubba moon travel system and isofix base. I love it! Its really nice but I've not used it yet as the baby is due next month. I've got it all set up ready to go though.

I've got the ickle bubba v3 and love it :)

MilkNoSugars · 26/04/2020 19:31

ickle bubba

Are you actually saying there is a product called this????

🤮

Delbelleber · 26/04/2020 19:54

Seriously 3 posts about the manufacturer name, what is the need? Its a decent brand and the name makes no difference what so ever.

Fudgewhizz · 26/04/2020 22:11

I really like the look of them but oh god the name Hmm

chunkyrun · 26/04/2020 22:16

It's such a nauseating name

baggies · 26/04/2020 23:22

Thanks for the 2 replies answering my question. Wasn't asking for views on the manufacturers name!Grin

Pretty sure the brand name isn't very important

jjgcom · 27/04/2020 09:32

Hello,

I looked at the pram with the khaki and copper and was considering buying it but looked on Which and they safety ratings aren't that great.

I've not decided to look at Nuna or Buggaboo as the safety ratings seem to be better.

Hope this helps!

baggies · 27/04/2020 10:34

@jjgcom thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the Which report

I have the V3 all it and it's amazing honestly such a good set. Never had any issues with it, and it's so light weight.

jjgcom · 27/04/2020 10:37

@baggies no problem Smile

Thatsanicepear · 27/04/2020 11:04

I have the Stomp V4 and very happy with it but the frame is a bit heavy so not ideal if you need to fold it down quickly on the bus or something.

Caspianberg · 27/04/2020 17:28

I havent got it, but it is heavy and doesn't fold compact compared to many.

There isn't really any reason to have to buy a package travel system set. You need to see what car seat fits your car first, so that could discount many options.

Theres also whats called 'extended rear facing' car seats now which last 0-4 years and are suitable from birth but stay fixed in car. so depends if removable is needed (new guidelines also say newborn max 30 mins in car seat, so not particularly handy to fit on pram)

Depends what your daughter is going to use it for. Off road over fields then something with larger wheels. If in and out car and just around town then something that folds easy and lightweight.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 27/04/2020 17:35

I know you weren't looking for comments regarding the name, but blimey, wasn't really going to happen was it.
I also wouldn't buy on principle.

baggies · 28/04/2020 11:11

Had a look at Which report which reviewed the V3 Moon version and there are safety issues. She's going to take their advice and look at car seats first and then the travel systems. Thanks for everyone's input. Agree brand name is dire but not relevant if product is good.
