Everyone seems to have had their boobs grow in size dramatically since being pregnant but I'm 8 weeks and they haven't grown at all. Anyone else not had boob changes or did they come in later?

My boobs at the start of the pregnacy were solid, from about 5 weeks they sort of lost the firmness but not completely but they havent grown at all imo, I'm 11 weeks now, all is fine so not worried.

KHall84 · 26/04/2020 16:02

Mine haven't changed at all until the end of pregnancy this has happened with both my pregnancy so don't worry not everyone gets the same symptoms x

CiderWithRosy · 26/04/2020 16:05

Mine didn't change at during three pregnancies so don't worry, not everyone's symptoms are the same.

Fortheloveofscience · 26/04/2020 16:09

My changes came far later, probably 20 weeks onwards. First few weeks had tenderness but zero change in size. They've successfully bf to 6 months + so no issues with functionality!

Pinkflipflop85 · 26/04/2020 16:13

Mine didn't change at all in either pregnancy.

Jem9153 · 26/04/2020 16:14

Mine didn’t change at all in the first 15 or so weeks, since then they’ve gone up maybe half a cup size (if that) and I’m 24 weeks now Smile

Elouera · 26/04/2020 16:16

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. Nipples have been erect and perky since I got BFP! Also, the last 2 weeks I've gone up at least a cup size. Not painful or lumpy like others have mentioned though.

I did lose 11kg before conceiving, but even so, was an F cup. I'm not sure if having bigger boobs to start with makes a difference?

Curiosity101 · 26/04/2020 16:18

Mine grew half a cup size if that. I only made it to 33+2 before an emergency section so I guess potentially it could have been something to do with hormones - who knows.

But what I do know is that breast size isn't a measure of how much milk you're able to make and that lots of people have different symptoms in pregnancy. For example, some people don't have any morning sickness, so it stands to reason some people won't have a massive increase in breast size.

Were you worried? Or just curious?

Puddlesplasher · 26/04/2020 16:22

Mine never changed at all with any pregnancy. The only time they changed was when my milk came in postpartum.

Moongirl10 · 26/04/2020 16:36

Mine haven’t really changed, maybe ever so slightly bigger. 35 weeks here.

Delbelleber · 26/04/2020 16:55

Mine haven't changed much and I didn't get the sore boobs either, just a few niggles now I'm in the 3rd trimester.

fedupwiththisshitnow · 26/04/2020 16:58

At 8 weeks I wouldn't really be expecting any changes except them being a bit tender maybe.

I got myself measured towards the end of my pregnancy. I had gone up a band size. Unsurprising since baby was still high at the time. What was surprising is that I had gone down a cup size.

It was at M&S, so not the most accurate measuring service, but I guess my point is that my bra size barely changed. I was wearing my normal bras (plus a band extender) all the way through pregnancy and the first few weeks of my baby's life until I finally got around to getting some nursing bras.

RhymingRabbit3 · 26/04/2020 17:51

Mine stayed the same size more or less throughout. Bra size went up right at the end but I'm pretty sure that was due to ribcage expanding rather than bigger boobs. I breastfed for 2.5 years and they were still more or less the same size afterwards.
