Linea Nigra- when did yours appear?

Did it start earlier with a subsequent pregnancy? I'm only 7 weeks, very pale & already see a faint line, but everything I read said it doesn't happen till 2nd trimester! When did you see yours?

Nothing with dd and nothing yet although I’m only 9 weeks.

I had twins and never got one. I think I read that fair skinned women don't get them?

I am ridiculously pale (almost translucent) and I didn’t get one with DD. I’m 19 weeks now and don’t have one yet.

Noticed a faint one before I even got a positive pregnancy test. Hasn’t got any darker yet (now 20 weeks)

Never got one with either pregnancy although I did have one when going through puberty.

Dc1 - around 26 weeks
Dc2 - around 20 weeks
Dc3 - currently 34 weeks but have had the linea nigra since week 1 - it never faded much from last dc

Never had one and currently 14 weeks with baby number 3. I'm also very pale and they are a lot more common in women with a darker skin tone or those who tan easily.

Hmm, starting to feel a bit freakish now!!! I'm pale, freckle easily, don't sunbake and certainly don't get stomach out in the sunlight. I can definitely see a faint line starting though- DH even commented yesterday. Guess I'll see if it progresses Confused

It’s my first pregnancy and I’ve just started to notice a very faint line. I’m 23 weeks and it appeared at 22

I got one right at the end of my pregnancy.

Didn't get one either. I was quite surprised as my sister got one and she's paler than me.

Never. As PP said no stretch marks either - I don’t know if the two are connected?
