It's a possibility but you rule out an evap either if you left the test. Have you got another test you can do tomorrow with fmu?

eventhecathasapenis · 25/04/2020 15:24

*can't rule out sorry

Mummyspider27 · 25/04/2020 15:26

When is your period due? Best to test with first wee of the day. I can see something but it’s best not to go back to tests... 🤞🏼 for you xx

charlieeeee · 25/04/2020 15:31

I don't know when period is due as I have a 9 week old. He's an IVF baby as couldn't conceive be after trying for 3 years

I would be amazed if it is positive... but also scared as Noah is only 9 weeks 😩

Just wondering what made you feel like taking the test if you don't know when your period is due? Just curious, no judgement Smile

charlieeeee · 25/04/2020 15:42

I'm not sure to be honest Hun me and hunny were chatting about how mad it would be and he came home with tests yesterday x

sel2223 · 25/04/2020 15:46

Definitely leave a few days and try again with FMU.
I can see a faint line but it's not a true positive if it came up outside the time frame as it could just as easily be an evap line

charlieeeee · 25/04/2020 15:51

Yeah I'll wait and do another just made me panic

Thanks all x

Not sure how long the hormones are in your body after having a baby... could be left over from that? I hope you get whatever outcome you want xx

Littlebb2020 · 25/04/2020 17:13

This was mine after about 5 minutes of taking the test and it is an ivf pregnancy I’m now 14 weeks.
Yours looks positive to me. Test again in a couple days op xx

That looks like an early positive to me

eventhecathasapenis · 25/04/2020 17:57

Looks positive to me too! Did the line appear within the time OP?

charlieeeee · 25/04/2020 18:04

Yeah within the ten minutes stated

gingerbeerandlemonade · 25/04/2020 18:07

Early positive! Both my children's tests looked like that. A small age gap isn't so bad 🙂 Congratulations

eventhecathasapenis · 25/04/2020 18:07

Well in that case congratulations! I know several couples that conceived naturally after an IVF baby, sometimes it's like your body just needs a kickstart.

Mummyspider27 · 25/04/2020 18:24

That’s looking positive. Try with first wee tomorrow and let us know xx

charlieeeee · 26/04/2020 03:13

Hi all - up with little man and only had a clear blue left. I'm not sure but I do think I see a faint line. Not sure if that counts... going to be a long night 🤣😅

There's a line there OP.

All the HcG from your pregnancy would be gone by now (unless you had some placenta still hanging around) but you'd know about that.

How are you feeling? Hope you're okay Thanks

charlieeeee · 26/04/2020 07:26

Hi @LatteLover12 bless you :)
I'm feeling a tad confused. I did have retained placenta after my csection because I hemraged. Had quite a difficult Month after the csection with infections also. I had a D&C on the 23rd March. 5 weeks or more ago.. could that be why? X

OP posts:
Mummyspider27 · 26/04/2020 08:49

@charlieeeee after your D&C did they get you to do a pregnancy test? I had one for a miscarriage but hd to do a test 2 weeks after to check it was negative which shows everything was removed. Not sure if you have had a negative test after that. Mine did take quite a few weeks to show a negative. It’s hard that you have had faint lines on all, but as different tests you can’t compare line progression. I am so intrigued!!! Xx

LatteLover12 · 26/04/2020 11:24

It could be that OP.

I had a couple of protracted MCs and even though I had an erpc I was still testing positive weeks later & they discovered I still had retained 'product.'

Are you still bleeding? Either way, I'd probably leave it for a week or so and retest. If you begin to feel unwell with a temperature then speak to your mw or, obviously, if you get any pregnancy symptoms then test again.

Good luck!

charlieeeee · 26/04/2020 11:59

@Mummyspider27 yeah this is interesting then.. and no they didn't. It was five weeks ago now. We will see hubby said that isn't a positive so to retest in a week but it's so hard to shut off. It's been a real tough few years trying to get pregnant then had a 52 traumatic labour ended with csection and I had a few infections and that after then going into covid I for the first time have ended up on anti depressants (first time ever for me) I just feel like a week is a very long time it's driving me mad not knowing x

OP posts:
charlieeeee · 26/04/2020 12:00

@LatteLover12 I was passing huge clots and two days after my DandC that had all stopped and not bled since so I know it's all gone and I feel well again. :) it's probably left over but I'll retest in a week to make sure x
