Hello everyone!!!!
Hope you are all ok and surviving all this that's going on....
I need some guidance as to pelvic floor exercises, do they really work. What's the best way to do them? Should I use an aid? I can only "hold" a squeeze for 2 seconds....mine are not great but I've never done them before....

Can anyone help

Anything you can do at this point is a bonus. Start of with doing sets of ten. Squeeze and hold for a second or two and then release; repeat ten times. Do this 3 times a day. After a while you can build up some strength and hold the squeeze a little longer. Eventually you want to aim for being able to hold a single squeeze for ten seconds.
Good luck x

I'm 27 weeks and all of a sudden started wondering about this last week!
I've looked online and on Mumsnet and the nhs Squeezy app was recommended.
It's £2.99 and you get a reminder when you need to do them, a few times a day. It's got a timer on so you know your doing it for the right length of time.
I've not missed one session yet, whereas before I was like oh I know I need to do them today but would always forget!
