I'm 40+1 days pregnant so only 1 day overdue but it's enough! I had a sweep yesterday morning which to be honest I found very uncomfortable I had a slight bit of brown blood later on during the day but nothing else. Last night I had really bad back ache and a shooting sensation in my bum baby is back to back so that's quite common with back to back babies this morning I've been a little bit crampy and feeling more heavy than normal down there but nothing else. Can anyone give me some positive stories please? Did anyone have absolutely no signs at all and go into labour? I just can't see it happening anytime soon to be honest I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but it's so hard. I have another appointment next Friday for a check up but tempted to give another sweep a miss to be honest I've not heard good things about them they seem to be hit and miss and quite uncomfortable for nothing. Then if no baby I've to be induced for the week after which I totally want to avoid at all costs!

Ah you poor thing. I think the last 2 weeks of pregnancy are most definitely the longest.
I have no advice. When I was pregnant with my first I tried all the old wives tales to get things going but nothing worked.
Good luck and I hope your baby doesn't keep you waiting much longer.
