Currently 18 weeks pregnant with a big surprise baby. Me and my boyfriend don't live together and his mam works in a hospital so I haven't seen him during the lockdown due to this and being high risk and living quite far away from each other and omg it is the most difficult thing I've had to do. We're both missing out on nice pregnancy things I told him the gender of our baby over the phone!! It's been awful and lonely... Is anyone else in the same position? Xx

Hi OP, I know exactly how you feel.
My OH is not from the UK and we are currently stuck on lock down in separate countries - I was actually in the process of moving overseas to be with him when this happened so now just temporarily staying with family while he is alone in our apartment.
I'm 24 weeks and haven't seen him since I was 17 weeks. No idea when I'll get to see him again or even if travel restrictions will be lifted in time for him to be at the birth in August!
It's so hard. It's our first baby and it breaks my heart that he's missing out on everything.

Sending hugs your way, I live apart from my boyfriend I'm currently 12+1 it's been the hardest thing ever.

We saw each other briefly for an hour last Saturday for a private scan as he couldn't come to the hospital one on Tuesday was the hardest saying goodbye again not knowing when we will see each other again.

We do speak every day on the phone but it's just not the same.

Sending you all love, that sounds so hard.
Lockdown will be lifted, and this will all pass. Try and stay positive xx
