Anyone else going it alone

I'm a single mum of 2 already and I'm expecting my 3rd. This baby's dad is a bit of a loose cannon and I'm unsure how much involvement I'm going to allow him ( depends on his behaviour). So I've decided I'm going to have my c section alone and my mum will be at my house to help out when I get out of hospital and then I'll be bringing up a baby by myself!
I was living with my ex when the other 2 were babies so I've never done this alone before. I know it's going to be really hard work!

Don't have any advice but congratulation on your bubba, when are you due?

I did it alone with my 3rd. From 12 weeks pregnant. Ex husband turned out to be a cheating shit. He hasn't seen the kids since (eldest isn't his but younger 2 are).

He turns 5 in 6 weeks. No regrets. None whatsoever. And I am the person that said I would never ever have a baby alone. I was quite adament about that. But it was the greatest thing I have ever done.

It's just the thought of having noone to hand the baby over to when I've had a rough day of it, I guess it will be different because I'll have my older dc to help entertain him though.

How old are your other two? Mine was 13, and the younger 2.5 when my 3rd arrived. My eldest was a great help. I have no family support at all.

Mine are 7 and nearly 12. This one was a big surprise!
