Constant Braxton hicks

Hi everyone! Long(ish) time lurker, first time poster.

I’m 26+2 and a FTM. Today since about 1pm I’ve been having constant Braxton hicks/ tightenings. It seems to be happening sporadically, one hour they’ll be coming and going in waves, then nothing for an hour, then back on.

To top things off, baby hasn’t been kicking as much as she normally does.

I’ve been to triage today- they measured baby’s heart rate and said she seemed fine. It’s too early to see a CTG and the doctor didn’t want to do a cervical exam so I was sent home pretty promptly.

Has anyone had anything like this before? Any advice is appreciated Smile

Hi hope your okay, with my second I had braxton hicks everyday from week 28 through to week 36 when I had my baby. Keep an eye on your baby's movements because that's really important!

Hello! I get them all the time, I'm 26 weeks on Saturday. On Saturday just gone I was getting them most of day on and off , not sure what was causing it and funnily enough I was having a quiet day too movement wise... Sunday I didn't get them as much but I deffo get most days.
I'm a FTM too and wasn't expecting them so early but I've had them regular from like 20 weeks.
Asked my midwife on Tuesday and she said completely normal as long as not painful.
