Hi girls so I’m having a bit of a confusing time at the moment. I am 17 weeks 3 days pregnant. Please don’t judge my situation! I was with my partner for quite a while and we broke up back in November time. I started seeing someone different the month after that and we agreed it’d be casual as I wasn’t over my ex boyfriend. I slept with this new man on the 31st of December for the first time. My ex boyfriend then contacted me on the 4th of January, we met up and spoke and then I ended up sleeping with him on the 4th, the 6th and the 8th of January. Fast forward 2 or so weeks to a few days prior to my missed period I took a pregnancy test. An extremely faint line appeared, took another dozen and the result was the same, the line was barely noticeable. Then got hold of a clear blue test which came up with 1-2 weeks pregnant. The date of the first day of my last period was the 25th of December. I am usually pretty good with contraception and using condoms but I was going through a pretty rough stage when I broke up with my ex, family issues etc and my behaviour was reckless which i can confirm I regret now immensely! My periods are pretty regular and my cycle differs from 29/30 days. The new man I slept with did NOT ejaculate inside me. Very TMI but i recall clearing it up off the sofa afterwards hahaha! My boyfriend who I slept with on the 4th,6th, and 8th ejaculated in me every time we had sex. My pregnancy app says I ovulated when I was with my ex boyfriend, and my 12 week scan also set my dates to the time I was spending with my boyfriend. I suffer quite badly with OCD which is diagnosed and I take medication for and it seems deep down I know the answer but am looking for clarification to ease these intrusive thoughts. Can someone please just put my mind at ease? And also what is the likelihood of sperm lasting 7 days? I’m reading that it’s pretty rare. Thanks guys x
