Tandem Pram Reccomendations

By the time baby arrived my LB will be 22 months. We've toyed with the idea of a buggy board but I think realistically a tandem buggy would be a good investment.

Can someone recommend a tandem that's good from birth without having to clip in a car seat. We don't drive. The car seat we will buy will be a staying put in my mother's car. Preferably quite cost effective. I've seen a few and a few reccomendations however when I look online I'm not convinced. We were given a maclaren buggy suitable from birth when my LB was born and although it said suitable from birth it was not (didn't recline flat) so I'd love some personal opinions.

TIA Smile

We have a similar age gap and bought a silver cross wave tandem. It has a bassinet that you can swap for a toddler seat. We got it second hand on eBay. We also toyed with the idea of a buggy board or just a sling and a single buggy but there are times when I need to strap my toddler in and I'd struggle if my baby was in the sling. It's in such good condition. We paid about £600. I'd recommend having a look if you don't mind second hand.

We've just bought the Casatto Wow XL, I'm due our second in a month and already have a 2 year old. It's awesome, they are on sale at the moment starting from £750 (depending on the print) this includes car seat (suitable upto 15kg), isofix base, change bag, pram and pushchair. It also has a built in buggy board. We had the Cosatto Ooba for our first and loved it, this one is a fair amount bigger, but the chassis folds very flat. Haven't had chance to take it out yet, but it's easy enough to manoeuvre around the house. Happy hunting 😀
