Anything to worry about? Just found out I am pregnant (4wks) and have caught a virus from DS2

I have been TTC no.3 for 18mth or so and have finally had success. But 2 yo DS2 was sick with some vomitting/diahorea virus he picked up at childcare all last week and now I have picked it up. It there any risk to my new pregnancy? TIA

Probably not if it's just food poisoning or V and D. However if the nursery have any cases of slapped cheek (5th disease) you will need a blood test, if you develop any symptoms. HTH.

Nope - I was the same with dd1 - she came out all stroppy 8 months later!

Thanks guys, I just guess it was not the start I was hoping for especially knowing that at my age (38yo) the chance of miscarriage is higher anyway ...
